Hi everyone, I’m Ayshen

A Hackney-born and Essex-raised- and-based lifestyle blogger. I like to think my love for blogging was somewhat inevitable – it’s a running joke in my family that I’ve always been a bit of a walking-talking blog before launching www.Ayshenofficial.com. My blog posts are real life stories featuring parts of my life with my amazing husband Simon, my love for fashion, product and make-up reviews, food, my personal style, fitness workouts, travelling, family life as well as anything else my life journey takes me… It’s going to be one hell of a journey and I’d love to share it with all of you. I have grown (not in height may I add ha!) and changed so much as a person over the years and so has my style and thoughts on make-up, fashion and beauty. Speaking of beauty, I passed my professional make-up course, which makes me a qualified make-up artist now (whoop whoop!) When I’m not blogging and being creative, I’m working along my sister on my husband’s new talent agency, Webbe Industries. Please follow us @Webbeindustries our amazing family run business.

Fashion and music

I come from a large tight-knit Turkish family of creatives, so it was only natural that I fell in love with music and fashion at a young age. My dad was in a band with his brothers in the late 1960s and early 1970s and most of my family are still connected to music in some way or another.
Growing up, my mum was a seamstress and my dad was a clothes pattern cutter. They would sometimes come home with factory samples from amazing brands such as Topshop and Gina. My sister and I didn’t know any better at the time, but the reality has since sunk that we were head-to-toe in the latest clothes from a very young age.

Fast forward to today and key pieces from my wardrobe have graced the pages of  Hello, OK Magazine, Daily Mail  – fashion finder to name just a few– including my engagement and wedding dress! I’ve also been lucky enough to be styled by fashion stylist Gemma Sheppard with gorgeous clothes from NET-A- PORTER.

Two things you might not know about me… I was in a girl group called Fe-nix Ladies back in 2008 before leaving to launch my own fashion collection Amosh in 2012. The journey was fun, but blogging is my calling. My own little space in the virtual world.

‘I do’

Simon proposed on 1st  Feb 2017 on the last night while holidaying in Jamaica. It was the most incredible moment of my life. I am now officially Mrs Webbe and so excited for the future ekkk.
